Coworth Flexlands at Home

During the period of school closure starting on 4 January 2021, Coworth Flexlands children are continuing their education at home. The children have a weekly timetable, similar to their usual schedule. Lessons are a combination of live teaching and pre-recorded lessons, using Microsoft Teams, and teachers are available real-time online to help with the tasks set and provide feedback.

It's almost indescribable to say how impressed and grateful we are for the dedication, commitment, sheer stamina and resolve you have shown in your work to educate and inspire our daughter and all the pupils at our school. It has been evidenced at each step - thinking, planning, delivering, reflecting, listening, adapting and most of all prioritising the needs of your students wherever you possibly can.

We are really happy with the home learning program, the live lessons and videos are really engaging - I find the maths videos useful too as I just don’t know how to help with maths so it’s really helpful.

The stories are great and Seesaw is brilliant, I read all the comments with my daughter and it really helps and is building her confidence a lot.

Having school device is game changing - uniform set up, apps and access improves pupil experience and feeling of connection to classmates and teacher. Live lessons for all morning all days of the week provides pupil autonomy, independence and responsibility alongside certainty of timebound detachment for parents - making either work or home responsibilities easier to manage and schedule.

How is my child learning at home? What is SeeSaw? How can I get help with my child's work? How do I access my child's timetable? How do I hand in my child's completed work? I'm finding it really hard to manage home learning whilst working from home We are connected to the live lesson on Teams, but can't see the teacher's shared screen
