YEAR 4 HOME LEARNING

During the period of school closure starting on 4 January 2021, Coworth Flexlands children are continuing their education at home.  The children have a weekly timetable, similar to their usual schedule.  Lessons are a combination of live teaching and pre-recorded lessons, using Microsoft Teams, and teachers are available real-time online to help with the tasks set and provide feedback.

Year Four Online Timetable - Spring 2021

The key benefits of our home learning experience for Year 4 are as follows: 

• Live lessons delivered up to 12.30 every day
• 1 to 1 iPads provided for all pupils with apps, tutorials and logins 
• Home learning packs sent home 
• Utilising online platforms such as Atom Learning, Office 365, Doodle Maths, Doodle English, Doodle Spelling and Seesaw  
• Live assemblies with the whole school 
• Book exchange once per week if required 
• Feedback readily given from teachers 
• 1:1 Learning Support lessons once or twice per week for anyone who needs a boost academically 
• Technology support given as needed 
• Breakout rooms utilised so small groups for core subjects 
• Focus on core subjects and additional topics as needed  
• Taking part in fun whole school events
