A sense of belonging and purpose is nurtured through our school Houses, which children join in Reception.
There are four Houses - Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby and Topaz - with siblings being offered the chance to be in the same House. Every child receives a badge in their House colour and all are encouraged to earn House points, take part in House matches and challenges, participate in House assemblies and raise money for their House's chosen charity.
Our Year 6 House Captains help to encourage a healthy sense of competition within their Houses whether it is in academics and school work or through sport, music and drama. After the various House events and at the end of the academic year, House cups and shields are awarded.
The House system allows the older children in school to spend time with the younger ones, building relationships across the year groups, encouraging teamwork and giving everyone a vital sense of belonging.
