Governors

The Board of Governors safeguards the ethos, direction and governance of the school, makes sure that finance is in place for day to day needs and for future development and sets challenging targets and measures performance for the academic achievement and personal development of our children.

We believe it is really important for the Governing body to be closely aligned to and in touch with the school and its needs, so the Governors of the school are made up of parents, past parents and former teachers, all of whom have relevant professional expertise. The Governors meet at least three times each year but mainly work through sub-committees such as General Purposes and Finance, Educational Coordination, Property and Building Development and Child Protection which meet more frequently.

The day-to-day management of the school is delegated to the Headmistress and the Bursar.
