Artsmark Gold

Artsmark is a national award scheme managed by Arts Council England. It recognises schools with a high level of provision in the arts and the scheme is open to all schools in the country. Aawards are at one of three levels, gold being the ultimate accolade.

The School has recently achieved the coveted Arts Council England Artsmark Gold Award. Very few schools in Surrey have achieved this at the first attempt!

To gain the Gold award, evidence was required in areas such as ladders of progression, cross-curricular links, community and partnership links and provision for gifted and talented pupils.

Artsmark is supported by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), Qualifications and Curriculum Development Authority and the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted)
